‘Fortnite’-Branded Products In The Works Following Pact Between Epic Games, IMG

Fortnite developer and publisher Epic Games is going all in on its hit franchise, which has quickly become the most popular game across both the Twitch and YouTube ecospheres.

After announcing that it will give away $100,000,000 million in prize money during the first officially-sanctioned season of Fortnite competitive play, Epic announced today that it has pacted with talent management company IMG to serve as its exclusive partner in licensing Fortnite-branded consumer products. IMG licensing president Bruno Maglione said that Fortnite “has the most amazing universe of environments, tools, and heroes to inspire products of all kinds.” The company noted that interested parties should inquire via its official website.

Fortnite is a free action-building game for desktops, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and iOS, in which players must save the world from a horde of monsters. Its popularity has helped launch the careers of buzzy influencers like Twitch’s top star, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins.
