Brooklyn And Bailey Named Ambassadors For JCPenney’s ‘Arizona’ Fashion Brand

Department store chain JCPenney has tapped identical twin influencer duo Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight as brand ambassadors for its leading privately-owned clothing label, Arizona Jean Co.

As ambassadors, the twins — who are 18 years old and count 5.3 million YouTube subscribers — will appear in life-sized cardboard cutouts in JCPenney stores across the country, along with signage calling out their favorite pieces within Arizona’s back-to-school collection. Each of the girls has also created a backpack filled with personally curated products — priced at $25 apiece — including a T-shirt, a dry shampoo pen, mini beauty product samples, and jewelry. Finally, they will host four meet-and-greet events in select JCPenney stores this month.

“We’re just average girls, just like all of our followers, so partnering with Arizona — a brand that has something for everyone — was such an authentic fit,” the girls tell Tubefilter. “They’re a classic denim brand, and denim is something every girl has in her closet.”

Adds Amy Neben, the McKnights’ rep at Select Management: “We learned through a number of experiences, including Brooklyn and Bailey’s 16-city tour this past fall, that their fans’ purchasing power was incredibly strong in person. Aligning the twins with a brand that has a powerful presence in every JCPenney location completely aligned with our learnings, and the response since launch has been phenomenal.”

In addition to fronting for mass retail partners, the girls have entrepreneurial ambitions of their own. In May, they launched a mascara line dubbed The Lash Next Door — of which 2% of profits benefit Girl Up, a United Nations Foundation that strives to empower girls around the globe.
