The Cavinder Twins turned NIL rights into TikTok fame. Now they’re joining Jake Paul’s sportsbook.

Jake Paul‘s sports gambling company is making a bet on a pair of content creators who are known for harnessing their name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights. Haley and Hanna Cavinder, who reach 4.5 million followers on their Cavinder Twins TikTok account, have signed on as equity partners for Paul’s eight-month-old venture Betr.

The Cavinder Twins just completed their fourth year of NCAA eligibility by attending the University of Miami, where they starred on the Hurricanes’ basketball team and made millions from assorted NIL deals. Haley and Hanna are two of the leading figures in a new generation of student-athletes who are making names for themselves as both sportspeople and creators. The Cavinders’ NIL deals were so numerous that they triggered an NCAA investigation, which ultimately cleared the sisters of any wrongdoing.

As they move onto the next phase of their lives, the Cavinder Twins are teaming up with an individual who has spent plenty of time at the intersection of sports of content creation. Jake Paul launched Betr to shake up sports betting by mixing small-scale wagers with original videos. The Cavinders will fit into that model by taking stake in Betr and contributing to its content platform.

Betr Founder and CEO Joey Levy announced the deal with the Cavinders on Instagram. “We are positioning Betr Media to become the #1 destination for emerging talent by providing a truly win-win proposition,” Levy wrote. “Betr can and will leverage the rapidly growing Jake Paul and Betr Media audiences to make emerging talent even more famous than they already are, while also providing best-in-class content development, production, and media sales infrastructure — all while offering material cash and equity upside into Betr Holdings, which owns both Betr Media and Betr Gaming.”

As the Cavinder Twins continue to cultivate their creative sensibilities, they’re also looking to follow their new business partner into another industry: Combat sports. The younger Paul brother has made headlines in the boxing world, but as the Cavinders step into the ring, they’ll be more likely to encounter Jake’s older brother. They are planning to join Logan Paul in the WWE, with their training set to start in the spring.

“We love the WWE,” Haley Cavinder said. “Their fanbase, their sport, the fitness side of it. That fits to Hanna and I’s brain and aligns great with us. So yeah, we’re very excited about the future with them.”
